A Typical Week at Kings

Currently, we meet as a church family together on Sunday mornings and throughout the week in small prayer groups across the town and beyond, and online.

Sunday Meetings

We are meeting on Sundays at the St Herbert’s Centre on High Hill at 10.30am. At present we are not serving refreshments, but feel free to bring your own drinks.

Our Sunday meetings usually last about 1½ hours.

Once a month we have an all age service called Ice Cream Sunday, a joint venture with St John’s Church. This welcomes families with younger children, but also people of all ages, to be family together.

Our times of worship are lively, joyful expressions of our love and devotion to God. We encourage everyone to come to the meeting ready to contribute to our worship. We listen to a talk from the Bible which aims to apply the truth of the Bible to our everyday lives.

When we meet in person, all who attend are required to wear face coverings unless exempt, or when leading from the front of the meeting. We are allowed to remove face coverings if preferred when singing. We will ensure that there is good distance between seating and good ventilation when we meet together.

We expect to experience the presence of God.

We want visitors to feel welcome and comfortable.

You can join us through the week…

  • at our Small Groups that meet in homes and venues near you, to pray, to encourage one another in our relationship with Jesus and to build friendship and support for one another and those around us, or our Tuesday evening online meeting.
  • at Rawnsley Parent & Toddlers for pre-school children and their carers
  • at Breakthru for young people aged 10-17

For these and any other events, please follow the links above and see our calendar or contact the office for more details.
