Welcome to King’s Church Keswick Website

We are a church “in the community, for the community”. We are part of Christ Central and Newfrontiers family of churches.

Our Sunday meetings are at 10.30 am on Sundays and at present we are meeting at St Herbert’s Primary School (see below for details). You would be really welcome to join us.

We hope that you enjoy exploring the website. If you would like to find out more about us, please contact us or click here.

I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2

Upcoming Events and Notices

Please continue to check our calendar, but please understand that things may change in the aftermath of the floods.

Following the devastating floods of the weekend of the 5th December, the Keswick community has pulled together to get life back to “normal”. Please continue to pray for us and for the wider community…..this is a long process!

If you wish to donate financially to the relief effort, the best way to do this is via the Cumbria Foundation Flood Appeal (http://campaign.justgiving.com/charity/cumbriafoundation/cumbriafloodappeal2015). You can also donate via text message. Send a text to 70070 with the message ‘FLUD15′ and a monetary amount. For example, ‘FLUD15 £10′. Thank you!

The main hall of the Rawnsley Centre, where our Sunday meeting usually takes place, was under 3 feet of muddy water on the night of 5th December and so we are unable to meet in there indefinitely. Unfortunately, this also means that Toddler Group and Top Squad are unable to meet upstairs at present as construction workers will be on site. We have found alternative venues for these groups – please see Calendar or What’s on?

Smaller mid week church meetings are going ahead often in people’s homes. Please see leaders for details.

For the time being we are meeting in the local Primary School on Sundays. For details, see below:

There is a small car park next to the school, and some parking on the road adjacent. Please park with consideration for residents around the school. Thank you.
